كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلا الصِّيَامَ فَإِنَّهُ لِي وَأَنَا أَجْزِي بِهِ
Inspirasi Story - 2 virtues of fasting from Fadhoilul A'mal vol. 2 which is studied at the dorm during this Ramadhan.
1. Fasting is for Allah.
Fasting is free from the feeling to show off/ we say "riya'" /arrogance. Why? Because That's mean only Allah knows we're fasting or not. Let's say, there is 2 people. We dont know she is fasting or not. Different with praying. We can know when she is praying or not
2. Because the fasting is for Allah, so Allah will reward it by himslef without any limits.
If other worship, will multiplied ten until seven hundred (10-700) times like in hadis thirty seven (37) Arbain Nawawi, but fasting, Allah will reward it without any limits.
So, I hope we can be more devout in fasting this Ramadhan.
